When former Attorney General Eric Holder went on Viceland's "Desus & Mero," he shared his experience of working in the Clinton and Obama administrations. The takeway: it's not always black people who are late.

When asked about his time serving under the two former presidents, Holder comically pinpointed how the two differed.

Black people are notorious for being late and running on CP time (CPT). While a tendency for tardiness has been a long-running joke in our community, when it comes to the first black president, CPT wasn't an issue. For one of his white predecessors, however, that wasn't the case.

'With President Obama, you never had a meeting that started late," Holder said. "With President Clinton, you never had a meeting that started on time."

"Smashing stereotypes left and right," Mero laughed.

Holder laughed along before adding "no CP time."

Holder made history as the first black man to become U.S. Attorney General from 2009-2015 during the Obama administration. Previously, he served as a judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia and as United States Attorney for the District of Columbia.

In addition to confirming that President Obama stayed on his P's and Q's, Holder discussed life since no longer working in the White House, Trump's golfing escapades and potentially running for office in 2020.

One thing's for sure, if he were to run, he won't be running on CPT.
