In celebration of the very intense finale of Euphoria season 2, Labrinth and Zendaya have released their joint track, “I’m tired.”

According to Variety, the gospel-inspired song made its debut during the season in a scene featuring Rue, played by Zendaya, in a church scene during the peak of Rue’s drug addiction. During the finale, viewers had the chance to hear the full-length version of the song co-written by Labrinth, Zendaya, and Euphoria’s creator, Sam Levinson.

“Hey Lord, you know I’m fighting. Hey Lord, you know, I’ll find it,” Zendaya sings. “I don’t know when or how today, Hey Lord, I’m on my way.”

On Monday, Zendaya shared to her Instagram Story a behind-the-scenes video of her recording “I’m Tired” in the studio with Labrinth, praising the musician for their collaborative effort.

“Thank you, bro for allowing me to write, create and share space with you on this very special song, Zendaya said. “I learn so much from you every time we work. Excited for what’s to come.”

Last month, Labrinth also teased the collab on his Instagram, sharing a muted video of himself and Zendaya nodding their heads in the studio.

“In her own words ‘we got something even better for y’all, that was just a taste’ @zendaya,” he captioned the video.

After the action-packed finale, Euphoria fans took to Twitter voicing their adoration for the song, and some even encouraged the actress/singer to release an album.

In addition to the show’s fans, rapper and actor Kid Cudi also fell in love with the song and wanted to be a part of a possible remix.

Zendaya and Labrinth were instantly on board with the Cudi remix of the song. The singer quote tweeted her collaborative partner with the sentiments of it being a dream collab.

“Yoooo!” Zendaya tweeted. “What a dream that would be… @Labrinth ???”

In which, Labrinth replied, “Let’s open a new dimension.”

The rapper responded to the duo with an answer that could only hint that a remix was on its way.

So what do you think? Have you heard the track “I’m tired,” and would you like to hear how Kid Cudi puts his spin on it?
