Kanye hasn’t finished his shuckin’ and jivin’ shenanigans — but this time, he went too damn far.

The rapper appeared on TMZ Live on Tuesday to discuss his recent controversial comments and shocked everyone in the room when he suggested that the 400 years of slavery endured by African Americans was a choice

“When you hear about slavery for 400 years. For 400 years?! That sounds like a choice” Kanye said. “Like you was there for 400 years and it’s all of ya’ll?”

TMZ reporter Van couldn’t take the comments anymore and went OFF, rightfully putting Kanye in his place:

"You're entitled to your opinion, you're entitled to believe whatever you want, but there is fact and real world, real life consequence to everything that you just said," Van said. "While you are making music and being an artist and living the life that you've earned by being a genius, the rest of us in society have to deal with these threats to our lives. We have to deal with the marginalization that has come from the 400 years of slavery that you said — for our people — was a choice!”

Black Twitter was equally furious and over it with users declaring an official Kanye cancellation. As a result, users did what they do best and turned #IfSlaveryWasAChoice into a trending hashtag to mock Kanye's explosive statement and call out the hypocrisy behind it. Meanwhile, other reactions — that didn't include the hashtag — still included timely messages on all of the madness:
