In 2013, Chevalo & Monique Wilsondebriano began selling homemade marinade and burgers at their local Charleston Farmers Market. In the four years since that humble debut, Charleston Gourmet Burger Co. has been picked up by Lowe's, Walmart, Kroger, Whole Foods, Costco, Sam's Club, and Harris Teeter. In addition to being selected as one of only 11 companies on Facebook’s Small Business Council, the couple will be debuting their new frozen microwavable cheeseburger line on QVC. "This has been a dream. It is just crazy," Monique said in an interview with Charleston City Paper.

'We're still pinching ourselves." QVC will debut the line of Charleston Gourmet Burger Co. pre-marinaded, fully cooked, char-broiled burgers on Wednesday, July 26, 2017. "You just microwave it for 1 minute and 20 seconds and it tastes like the cheeseburger just came off a grill," says Chevalo. A former New York City Fire Department EMS and a 9/11 first responder, Chevalo worked with Old Hickory Farms in Tennessee to create their frozen cheeseburgers. At a price point of $59.99, the QVC premium packages contain 12 burgers. "This price point may not be for everyone, it's premium beef steak," he says.

Expect to see much more of this ambitious entrepreneurial foodie couple as they prepare to release additions to their brand. "We actually have a whole line, bacon burger, barbecue bacon cheeseburgers, mini sliders," said Chevalo. "We have literally I don't even know how many burgers. We're being mindful when we release them."
