Fresh on the heels of new singles with City Girls and Nicki Minaj, Fivio Foreign pulled up to speak with the students at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). He even taught them a little something, though it seemingly had more to do with dancing than fashion design.
During his visit to the Manhattan-based university, Fivio Foreign proceeded to teach a lucky group of students how to groove to “What’s My Name,” a track off of his B.I.B.L.E. album that features both Queen Naija and Coi Leray.
In addition to seeing the final product, viewers have the opportunity to see Fivio actively instructing the students on how to properly perform the song’s accompanying dance. Judging by how on-point the end result was, it’s safe to say that Fivio Foreign’s teaching attempt was successful!

The video also displayed the FIT students showing the rapper love.
“Fivio, FIT welcomes you into our family, and we can’t wait to hear more music from you,” one student said.
“We love him. Amazing, absolutely amazing,” another student added.
Additionally, the upload also showed off an official certificate Fivio Foreign as he received an honorary degree from the institution, as well as other various gifts.
Notably, Fivio Foreign proceeded to shout out the students on Instagram.
“S/O 2 the students at The Fashion Institute in Manhattan,” he wrote. “We bodied dis.”
“What college should I pull up to next?” he added.
Notably, Fivio Foreign isn’t the only high-profile celebrity to make an appearance at a powerhouse university.
As Blavity previously reported, artists like Bun B, IDK, Nas, and Kanye West have all taught courses at postsecondary institutions like Rice University, Harvard, and L.A. Trade-Tech College. Additionally, Migos and Tyra Banks had the opportunity to teach at New York University and Stanford, respectively.
It’s also worth pointing out that Saweetie taught a class titled “PRETTY B.I.T.C.H Renaissance Workshop” at the 1500 Sound Academy in Inglewood, California.
Would you have been down to dance to “What’s My Name” alongside Fivio Foreign?
