According to his IMDB page, Idris Elba’s career as a screen actor started in 1994, with an appearance on a series called “Space Precinct,” playing a pizza delivery man. That’s exactly how the character is listed on his IMDB page – pizza delivery man.

He appeared in just one episode, in 2 scenes, which you can watch below.

He was just 22 years old at the time.

Apparently, the story goes that Elba’s attempt at an “American accent” wasn’t as strong as it would eventually become later in his career, that the show’s producers had to dub his dialogue with another actor’s voice, to hilarious effect! I assume that means his pizza delivery man was an American pizza delivery man.

The futuristic series followed the extraterrestrial adventures of a crime fighter on the planet Altor, inhabited by both humans and aliens.
