The Florida man meme has come to life thanks to one drunk man and a random alligator.

Robby Stratton is the latest Florida man to be caught on tape doing some crazy s**t. In a now-viral video, he is seen casually strolling through a convenience store carrying an alligator like it’s a duffle bag.

Stratton walks in the store demanding beer and when he sees another patron with a case, he chases the person around the store. When he loses interest in that guy, he strolls into the beer cooler, with the gator, and grabs some beer.

When questioned about the incident, Stratton swore he didn’t remember anything about the trip to the store or acquiring the reptile. He says he was under "a lot of the influence."

He must have drank something strong because he filmed a whole ‘nother video describing how he ended up with the gator, according to WSOC.
"This (redacted) had a weed eater in his hand, looked over and found him," Stratton said in the video. "I was working and he came up to me and I dove on his (redacted)."

Stratton and another man were arrested and charged with illegal possession of an American alligator and illegal exhibition of dangerous wildlife, according to The Florida Times-Union. Their bail was set at $30,000 each and they will be arraigned on August 16. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is currently investigating the matter.

FX'S "Atlanta" writer’s room was definitely onto something with that Florida man scene. Weird.
