The #InMyFeelings challenge may be on its last legs after a Florida man's version of the popular dance is going viral for the wrong reasons.
Like countless others who recorded themselves jumping out of cars just to dance to Drake's latest hit single, "In My Feelings," Boynton Beach resident, Jaylen Norwood was attempting to stand out from the pack.
So, he planned to do the dance, jump on the hood of an oncoming car and keep on dancing, the Grio reports.
But it didn't go as planned.
“I planned this whole thing out. I was gonna do the dance and then jump on the hood of the car and continue the dance, but it came too fast and I slipped on the oil and that’s why I got hit by the car,” Norwood said.
He got out of the car, dances for a moment and gets hit by the car he was supposed to jump on.
“I wasn’t injured,” Norwood added. “Just scraped my arm.”
Blavity reported, prior to this fiasco, about the National Transportation Safety Board concerns regarding the participants of the internet challenge. Apparently, Norwood was not the only one to come face-to-face with the bumper of a car.
“There’s a time and place for everything, but our nation’s highways and roadways are no place for the #InMyFeelings challenge,” NTSB Chief of Safety, Nicholas Worrell, told The Blast.
The dance craze, started by comedian Shiggy, propelled the 6 God's single from his most recent album, Scorpion, to the top of the charts, but is it worth becoming roadkill, though?
