Frank Ocean blessed us all with Blonde after being MIA for years. Now, he’s given us his first interview since being back on the music scene.
C-SPAN aired when Ocean talked to reporters after he and his mother posed for pictures at the Obamas’ last state dinner in the White House.

The thing is, they didn’t even talk music. Frank gave a very wistful response to a question about his tuxedo/vans combination. He said he was interested in “asking Obama if he had fun these last eight years” and “just congratulating him.” He also hinted at the possibility of doing some groundwork in the form of musical performance, for an assumed 2020 Hillary Clinton re-election campaign. It’s better than nothing, right?
One thing is for sure though, Frank and his mother Katonya Breaux came to stunt. And stunt they did.
