Remember that $4000 music festival that turned into the Hunger Games in the Bahamas? Well, now that the attendees of Fyre Fest are safe at home, they have filed a federal class action lawsuit for the bamboozlement. The complaint, which was filed against Ja Rule and other organizers, lists fraud, negligent misrepresentation, and more as the reasons for this suit. Over 150 attendees are a part of the suit and are expecting a minimum of $100 million.

Ja Rule took to Twitter to issue an apology but reminded the people it wasn't his fault. “My partners and I wanted this to be an amazing event. It was NOT A SCAM,” the 41-year old rapper explained. “I truly apologize as this is NOT MY FAULT… but I’m taking responsibility. I’m deeply sorry to everyone who was inconvenienced by this.”

The "private" island where the attendees were held "hostage" is currently on lock down. According to the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, "Customs has the area on lockdown because festival organizer, Billy McFarland has not paid customs duty taxes on the items that he imported for the event."
According to a statement, the organizers promised that "all festival goers this year will be refunded in full" and will receive free V.I.P. passes next year.
