Giancarlo Esposito as Gus Fring in "Breaking Bad"

During an exclusive E! Online fall TV season news/spoiler chat a couple of days ago, the following question was asked:

The Breaking Bad finale was insane! Could not have been more gut wrenching. Do you know anything about the final season yet?

And the following answer was given by E! Online:

Just that Gus could be coming back! Giancarlo Esposito tells us "there has been talk" and "there has been certainly ideas floating around" about his big bad character returning in some capacity for the very end. And Giancarlo is so on board with that, saying, "I want to come back in Walt's [Bryan Cranston] dream and haunt him." Yes, please!

So, as fans of the series already know (SPOILER)… despite having the entire right side of his face blown off by a bomb explosion, and dropping dead, in the season 4 finale of the award-winning hit series Breaking Bad, Giancarlo Esposito may be returning as Gus Fring in the latter half of the series' final season – a role that he's received an Emmy nomination for (and will likely win).

But how? Maybe just as Esposito states – in Walt's dreams (or rather nightmares).

Let the speculation begin…

In the meantime, you can catch Esposito as Captain Tom Neville, on J.J. Abrams' Revolution, which premieres on Monday, September 17 at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
