According to the Associated Press, Duchess Meghan Markle has been presented with a royal coat of arms!

Kensington Palace officially unveiled the symbol on Friday.

Yaaasss!

A coat of arms is an honor typically bestowed to nobility. Markle's emblem features symbols that nod to her background and to her future.

Surrounded by a blue background representing the Pacific Ocean, her shield also includes three quills to signify the power of words. The insignia also contains California's state flower, golden poppies and there is a reference to her new English life–the inclusion of wintersweet, a shrub that grows at Kensington Palace.

It is very nice.
I am certain that, it has special meaning for her.

Aww. As a California girl myself I especially love the California poppies. ????— Julie Kellogg (@pedsdocmom) May 25, 2018

Love that this Coat of Arms has such strong symbolic meaning, especially showing the Duchess power of written & oral communication. Also the open beak & elevated wings of the songbird showing her voice will be heard in equal partnership with her husband. Reflecting dynamic couple— #ResistHate&Racism (@DeelightRI) May 25, 2018

Markle worked directly with the College of Arms in London to create the design. And in case you missed it, Markle wed Prince Harry on May 19 at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle.

We stan a bossmade duchess!
