Former talk show host and actress Holly Robinson Peete took to Twitter on Friday to criticize reality TV star Sharon Osbourne, who has been in hot water all week for her defense of racist criticism directed toward Meghan Markle.
Osbourne, a longtime friend of Piers Morgan, came to his defense, denying that he was racist and telling the public he was simply sharing his opinion about Markle after a much-talked-about interview with her husband Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey.
Osbourne's co-hosts on The Talk brought up the topic and respectfully questioned her about her stance on Morgan.
Osbourne lashed out at her Black co-host Sheryl Underwood and claimed others were calling her a racist. The spat forced Osbourne to release an apology on Friday, but some were not impressed, as Blavity previously reported.
Among those disinterested in the apology was Peete, who said that during her time with Osbourne hosting The Talk, she called her "ghetto" and implied that Osbourne was the reason she was fired.
