Saturday, April 9th marked the 2nd Annual Honey Groove D.C. art, music and cultural festival at the Blind Whino. This unique experience for lovers of music and art celebrates, empowers and showcases queer artists of color. Brimming with diverse musical performances, live painting and a variety of vendors offering everything from handmade footwear to paper mache art — Saturday’s event definitely lived up to its promise.
We can’t wait to see what next year has in store for this distinct cultural celebration! Check out some images below of the artists and creativity found at Honey Groove 2016.
