A father of two was charged with capital murder on Sunday, August 5, for stabbing his daughter and son to death, the Houston Chronicle reports.
Ndosska left a note for his wife, Sabine Ntongo, regarding the Saturday killings of one-year-old Anna-Belle and eight-year-old Marcel Ntongo. USA Today obtained court documents confirming Ntongo found out her children were dead via a phone call. ABC 13 also reported a note, written in French, was left with the children's dead bodies, saying his spouse would be left to “carry the burden of our souls, me and my two children.” He also wrote the deaths were her fault.
Ndosska and Ntongo had been married for six years and emigrated together from the Congo to the United States. Highly tense custody issues arose once Ntongo left with their children. Family members later described Ndosska as verbally abusive. The double killing occurred after she dropped the children off at Ndosska's home.
According to court documents, Anna-Belle cried as Ndosska displayed the knife over the children, and Marcel's final words were, “Daddy, I’m sorry."
Houston Police found Ndosska in a truck around 1 a.m. with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the head. The department posted a booking mug shot of Ndosska via Twitter on Wednesday.
Suspect Jean Pierre Ndossoka was found inside his vehicle in Pasadena around 1 am this morning. He had suffered a non-fatal, self-inflicted gunshot wound. Ndossoka was transported to the hospital in stable condition and charges are pending against him. #HouNews
