Idris Elba got down on one knee Saturday to propose to his girlfriend Sabrina Dhowre.
The moment was captured on camera as the 45-year-old actor popped the question at the Rio Cinema in London for his film Yardie, which marks his directorial debut.
“Still 5 days to Valentines Day but @idriselba went down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend live on stage this morning before a preview of his film #Yardie,” a tweet from the cinema's Twitter account read.

One attendee captured the moment on video:
The couple met and began dating while Ebla was making his 2017 film The Mountain Between Us.
“Falling in love while making a movie about falling in love is pretty special,” Elba told People editor-in-chief Jess Cagle in September.
Dhowre, who is from Canada and was crowned former Miss Vancouver, has been seen publicly with Elba on several red carpet occasions and recently joined Elba as they two met Prince Charles in December.
Congrats to them!
