Michael Jackson was his music and his music was him. So, how can you separate the two, you ask? Well, looks like Lifetime and Netflix will have to do that with their upcoming biopics!

According to TMZ, sources close to Michael Jackson's estate have confirmed that the Lifetime's Searching for Neverland and Netflix's Bubbles are unauthorized, and that the estate will not allow the use Jackson's music or any of his materials in either of the respective films.

For now, the estate's legal team are holding off any legal action, but from the moment they hear the famous melodies of MJ's tunes? To the court they go!

That means no "Billie Jean," no "Beat It," no "Thriller," no "Rock With You," no "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough"… the list goes on.

The estate hasn't seen either of the movies, yet.  Though, it looks like Searching for Neverland drops on Memorial Day, so we'll be finding out sooner than later whether we're about to witness another Jackson court battle. For Lifetime and Netflix's sake, let's hope that the start of summer doesn't also come with a side of lawsuit.

It's difficult to imagine any musical artist's biopic without their music being successful, but especially someone like Michael Jackson! What will he moonwalk to? What song will he complete with an iconic rapid spin? I imagine Lifetime doing something similar to what they did for their Aaliyah biopic, when they had the late starlet singing other tunes; which could be a disaster.
