Chance The Rapper's tweets may not be worth more than gold, but they're definitely worth a ridiculously large number of golden nuggets.
Complex reports that the Chicago artist is receiving love on social media for successfully advocating the return of a favorite Wendy's item: spicy chicken nuggets. The popular option upset many fans of the fast food chain when they announced its retirement in 2017, according to The Thrillist.
As Blavity reported, the newlywed rapper was obviously among the brokenhearted customers. However, he appeared to be in great spirits when he sparked the significant reemergence of the nuggets with a rather random and hilarious reference to the brand.
"Positive Affirmations for today," Chance wrote on Saturday, "I WILL have a good day, I Will succeed today, Wendy’s WILL bring back spicy nuggets at some point please please Lord let it be today [sic]."

Initially, the food company responded on Twitter using a little wordplay. The company's social media manager wrote, "It won't be today, but there's always a chance."

Well, that didn't sit well with most and eventually, the corporation took notice.

Wendy’s, you’re cancelled for your negative vibes.

Nearly three hours later, Wendy's official Twitter page provided an update. Wendy's wrote, "Or maybe it will be today." Then, Wendy's added, "we struck a deal with the boss finally, but it's gonna take some work."

How much work will this task take, you ask? It'll require the power of two million tweeters combined.
"Y’all keep asking, so here’s your chance," the Wendy's social media page tweeted in a newly shared comment above Chance's original post. "The people in charge say if you guys can get our tweet (this one right here) to 2 Million likes, they will bring SPICY CHICKEN NUGGETS BACK. Let’s freakin’ do this!"
Y’all keep asking, so here’s your chance.

The people have spoken and the deal is done. In a little over 36 hours, the tweet garnered over 2.1 million likes and the fast food chain confirmed on May 5 that the spicy chicken nuggets will "soon" be returning.
"THIS IS NOT A DRILL!" they wrote, "Spicy Chicken Nuggets are coming back! Y’all are crazy! That took like a day and a half! WHAT?! We don’t know when yet, gotta figure it out, but soon, and ok, LOSING IT RIGHT NOW THIS IS AMAZING!!"

Mashable reports that the longstanding company discontinued their chicken tenders just last week, so it's possible the spicy nuggets may be on in its way back in its place. Regardless of whether the move was planned or not, the people are happy.
