Police are looking for a white man, approximately 20-years-old, 5 feet 6 inches in height and small build who robbed a Speedy Mart Gas Station wearing blackface in Chesterton, Indiana, NWI Times reports.

The man had short, cropped brown hair, blue eyes and was wearing baggy black clothing. 

Oh, and he was also wearing blackface.

Chesterton Police Chief David Cincoski confirmed the unidentified white man robbed the convenience store at gunpoint at 4 a.m. on Friday, where he threatened an employee on duty. 

"The weapon displayed was a semi-automatic handgun," said Chief Cincoski.

Cincoski said the man, although white, had covered his face and hands with black paint.

The robber received an undisclosed amount of cash before he escaped the store on foot.

The Chesterton Police Department plans on releasing surveillance camera images of the suspect once they become available.

Another white man tried that very same blackface okey-doke during a Las Vegas heist back in March before being caught by police. So, they keep on trying it, huh.
