Irv Gotti is shamelessly boasting about how he used to sexually prey on Ashanti. The 52-year-old music producer spewed his bizarre comments in the latest episode of the The Murder Inc Story documentary on BET.
Gotti, who signed Ashanti to his record label in 2002 and helped her release her self-titled debut album, bragged about how he used to sexually admire the singer when they spent time together in the studio.
“She used to wear these juicy sweats,” he said about Ashanti, who is 11 years younger. “And her ass was looking fat. Her ass was looking great.”
The shameless producer continued to boast about his shenanigans, saying he touched Ashanti inappropriately after offering to take her home.
“Walked her to her front door of her crib, she turns to say goodbye and I just kiss her and grab her ass,” he said. “It was like ‘What took you so long.'”

Social media users are disgusted by the comments, but not surprised.
He was married. With kids.
It's 20 years later! Why are you stuck on this?! She is giving you dust, and you're 53 still talking about this. Thoughts and prayers. Also… MOVE ON!

One Twitter user deemed the 52-year-old “Irv the Perv.”

Nah fam. This dude just blatantly admitted to pushing himself upon his 20 year old employee. He can tell all he wants, but he’s exposing himself to be a predator. And for that he deserves every bit of outrage

Not only is it wrong for this dude to be kissing and telling, but he was married and he was basically her boss. And he was like 10+ years older than her… he basically admitting that he was a creep, so Ashanti doesn't even have to say anything.

Y’all send a prayer out for Ashanti because… this nigga irv is obsessed and MAD.
Crazy thing is… there are 9191910101930300404049101 just like corny ass irv.

Irv is over a 10+ years older than Ashanti. We need to stop acting like it's okay for a 30+ y/o producer/label owner to get involved w/ a 19 y/o singer trying to break into the biz. The power dynamics are not even CLOSE to be equal, & that's before we even talk about Irv's wife https://t.co/ru4B0bOrwE

I completely understand why Ashanti didn’t want to be apart of this. They’re basically blaming her for the breakup of Murder Inc when the reality is Irv’s high ass couldn’t stay focused on the business #MurderIncStoryBET

I had NO IDEA Ashanti was being preyed on like this. And the fact that he’s being given the space to speak on her like this is unacceptable. pic.twitter.com/VdVT1zNU9U

Gotti has been constantly speaking about Ashanti while making appearances on various media platforms.
Speaking in a recent interview with Page Six, the producer said he felt betrayed because Ashanti didn’t stick by his side after he was accused of using his label, Murder Inc. Records, to launder money.
“When the feds hit, she ran like the cockroaches when you turn the lights on,” Gotti told Page Six. “She was ready to get the f **k off of the Murder Inc. label and she was ready to abandon me, the person who made her. And yes I can say I made her. How do you know I can say that firmly? The minute I stop making her records . . . She has not made a hit since.”
As Blavity previously reported, Gotti found himself in more trouble when he made comments about Ashanti during a recent episode of Drink Champs. The producer said on the show that Ashanti’s song “Happy” was written after the two had sex, Complex reports.
