Kai Cenat is taking on new creative endeavors in his career. The streamer announced a departure from his usual work as a content creator in a video titled “I Quit” that he posted on Tuesday. Cenat said he’s getting ready to launch his own fashion brand as he’s been quietly documenting his current self-improvement journey on a separate YouTube channel.

Is Kai Cenat quitting his job as a content creator?

The streamer didn’t say he’s quitting streaming, but he did say that he’s taking on new creative endeavors.

“I quit overthinking. I quit staying in my head about [whether] the goals I pursue are going to work or not. I want to push limits to see how much I truly can create in life,” he said in the video, the Rap-Up reported.

The 24-year-old has taken a step back from Twitch since concluding the third iteration of his Mafiathon streaming series hosted in September. He has since launched a second YouTube channel called Kai’s Mind in which he’s been documenting his journey toward self-improvement. Cenat has posted videos in which he is seen reflecting on life, exercising, reading and learning how to sew. In the past, he’s been open about his struggles with mental health and his desire to take on more creative projects.

Kai Cenat will soon launch his own fashion brand

The content creator also announced he is gearing up for the upcoming launch of his own fashion brand.

“This is my first time [having] a passion — a true passion for something besides content creation,” he tells his mother in the video clip.

Cenat traveled to Italy, has started taking sewing classes and has met with renowned celebrity stylist Law Roach to learn more about fashion.

“It’s the opportunity to just express a lot of things that’s been going on in my life. But like this is Kai behind the streams, and I want to do it the right way,” he said, per The Grio. “This is not me slapping my name on any brand.”

The brand will be called Vivet, a Latin word that translates into “he, she, or it will live forever.” Cenat also shared that he plans on releasing the journal he has been using to document his brand building process in the hopes of inspiring others.

“The deeper meaning behind vivet is to not be boxed into what society is trying to only box you into,” he said, according to The Grio. “I want [my brand] to be more like they see everything. They see when I fail. They see when I achieve. They see when I’m doubting myself. And they see when I overcome it.”
