Ivanka Trump tried offering up a tweet honoring Black History Month that was not well received:
During #BlackHistoryMonth, we celebrate heroes like Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. who were sojourners for freedom – and we resolve to continue to bring greater equality, dignity, and opportunity to all Americans, regardless of race or background.

Naturally, Twitter attacked. She must be surprised and undoubtedly expected positive responses. The disconnect undeniably comes from who her father is. Donald Trump's presidential campaign relied heavily on racism, and he called white supremacists "very fine people." His recent "s***hole countries" comments are the latest racist tactic.
Your dad is a racist that thinks White Supremacists are very fine people.
You are complicit.
So thanks for your tweet, but honestly, you can keep that shit for yourself.
Your whole family is going to jail, chica. pic.twitter.com/SOI3wvJwVw

Did Ivanka just make #BlackHistoryMonth about ALL Americans? What is wrong with her? Plus, did she use "sojourners" in the correct context ????

Maybe tag your father, I don't think he knows…
"[white supremacists] are very fine people"

I do not understand why you are here and how you can make statements about Black history month and women while you are being complicit to a man who cares about neither.

Ivanka you must be writing for The Onion, because I can only interpret your tweet in reference to Black history month as satire.

Dignity? With your father calling black NFL players SOBs? Dignity left our house-the White House, on January 20, 2017. Equality? Take a look at the Demographic of all the intern groups affiliated with GOP leadership. Opportunity? Like Made in China?

Wow, you just whitesplaid all over #BlackHistoryMonth

This isn't going to go over well for obvious reasons. #DonaldTrump many, many attacks on blacks — black NFL players, John Lewis, Central Park 5, birtherism…do I need to go on? pic.twitter.com/AGsxBBuYyo

Don’t forget Kaepernick

There are two valuable lessons here: people will always expose hypocrisy, especially on Twitter, and people don't take kindly to people 'all lives mattering' a holiday dedicated to them. However, how much can we expect from members of this current administration? Don't talk to us about equality and how great black people are because we already know. Ivanka, call your daddy and give him a lesson or two.
