Thanks to today's news, we know a little more about the project; it was early last month that we announced that Jennifer Lopez was developing an hour-long drama for ABC Family that will center on a lesbian couple (one a police officer and the other a school teacher)… "who suddenly have their already child-heavy household turned upside down when a wayward teenage girl moves in."

Their "already child-heavy household" will include one biological son and adopted teen twins – a boy and a girl.

Today, we learned, via press release, that not only has ABC Family picked up the pilot, but we now also know that it'll be titled The Fosters, and that the above family will be a "multi-ethnic" one.

Keep in mind, this will be an hour-long drama.

J-Lo won't be acting in it, although she plans to guest star from time to time. Her primary role here is as executive producer of the series.

No word on casting yet however; but from the description, I expect we'll see some *colorful.* I'm especially curious about whether the lesbian couple will be a mixed pairing, as opposed to 2 white mothers, and a colorful group of kids.

Stay tuned…
