Emmy winner Jharrel Jerome has joined the cast of Full Circle, the upcoming HBO Max series from director Steven Soderbergh and writer Ed Solomon, as a lead. He joins Zazie Beetz, Claire Danes, Timothy Olyphant, Dennis Quaid and more.
All six of the show's episodes will be directed by Soderbergh, who also serves as executive producer.
Along with writing the series Solomon also serves as executive producer. Casey Silver also executive produces. The upcoming series is a reunion of the group who collaborated on the 2021 HBO Max movie, No Sudden Move.
The series follows a bungled kidnapping investigation that reveals long-kept truths linking several personalities and cultures in contemporary New York City.
Jerome is reportedly portraying a member of one of the crime families in the series.
The 2019 Emmy for Lead Actor in a Limited Series went to Jerome for his work as the star of Ava DuVernay’s Netflix original series, When They See Us. He also starred in Barry Jenkins’ Oscar-winning film Moonlight.
