The upcoming new USA Network half-hour comedy pilot Sirens has cast Kevin Daniels (Modern Family), Michael Mosley (30 Rock, Pan Am), Jessica McNamee (The Vow) and Kevin Bigley (Game Change) to star.
Synopsis from the USA Network press release:
Sirens follows three of Chicago's best EMTs whose sometimes self-loathing, other times narcissistic, and always downright self-destructive personalities make them unqualified for sustaining relationships, friendships and most occupations. They are, however, uniquely qualified for saving anyone unlucky enough to wind up in their ambulance.
The pilot, set to shoot in Chicago later this month, will be directed by Victor Nelli (Happy Endings, Ugly Betty), who will also executive produce.
Dennis Leary will co-write with Bob Fisher (Wedding Crashers), and both will executive produce the series along with Jim Serpico (Rescue Me), and Hal Vogel and David Aukin (Hyde Park on the Hudson) of Daybreak Pictures.
Kevin Daniels, you may recall, starred in the Broadway play Magic/Bird earlier this year – a play that told the tale of the lives, as well as the professional and personal relationship between basketball hall-of-famers, Earvin "Magic"Johnson and Larry Bird. Daniels played Johnson.
Other credits of the rising stage performer nclude Lincoln Center Theater's Twelfth Night.
