One mother says that a teacher sprayed her autistic son with Lysol multiple times and was never reprimanded.

Kimberly Risby noticed a change in her son J.R. when he became clingy and didn't want to go to school, but Risby struggled to figure out why. J.R., who is on the autism spectrum, finally opened up to his mother speaking about his teacher spraying Lysol at him.

"He said, ‘It hurts, Mommy. It hurts my eyes. It hurts my nose. It hurts my throat and I can’t breathe,’” Risby told WSB-TV 2.

When Risby went up to L.O. Kimberly Elementary School to voice her concerns, she was met with a surprising response. The school leader apologized and said "I'm so sorry. I thought it stopped."

The teacher Dorcas Noland has since resigned in lieu of termination as the result of an investigation that confirmed she sprayed Lysol on students. However, this still isn't satisfactory punishment to Risby. She feels that this just allows teachers to start over in another district.

"Why is she able to go to another school system? Why is she able to continuously teach without being reprimanded for anything that she did?" Risby said, voicing her concern.

Records show that Noland may already be back in another school in Fulton County. If that's the case, there needs to be a serious evaluation of teachers. Too many parents entrust their children to the schoolhouse every day for crooked teachers to be treating these children any kind of way. Hopefully, justice is served.
