La La and Carmelo Anthony are the proud parents of their son, who is now 16 years old– where has the time gone?
Kiyan Anthony celebrated his big day on Tuesday, and both parents took to their social media to wish him well on his big day.
Anthony shared an adorable video of moments through Kiyan’s life from infancy to now. The photo montage included images of the teenager’s first birthday, holding a trophy twice his size as a kid, and current pics looking fashion magazine worthy.
Jhené Aiko‘s “Promises” played in the background of the video, emphasizing their unique relationship.
The BMF actress captioned the post expressing her disbelief in having a son that is 16.

In her caption, Anthony alludes to thinking about Kiyan’s request for a tattoo on his 16th birthday.
Last year, the teen asked fans on his mom’s social media if she should let him get some ink when he turned 16.
His mom was not in support of the idea at the time, asking, “Have you lost your mind? What 16-year-old has a tattoo?”
It seems all of the tough talk was for nothing. Kiyan posted some images on his Instagram story of receiving his new ink.
One of California’s most sought-after tattoo artists, Carlos Macedo, posted images of the teenager getting tatted on his Instagram.
It seemed the tattoo session was a family affair.
Carmelo was there watching his son get his first piece of artwork.
