In the show’s visual trailer, exclusive to Blavity, Pettigrew starts by sharing a fun fact about cannabis.

She asked, “Did you know that your body makes weed?”

Later in the clip, she explains the phenomenon in detail.

“In fact, we call it a runner’s high, and for whatever reason we believed endorphins to be responsible, but endorphins are too big of a molecule to cross the blood-brain barrier,” she said.

Pettigrew continued, “Your body is releasing anandamide, and it’s very structurally similar to THC, which is why you feel high after a very good run.”

Xzibit then cracked a few jokes about Pettigrew’s cannabis fact.

He asked with a chuckle, “Who’s running? This is L.A. We don’t walk or run anywhere.”
