LeBron James’ eldest son Bronny is the nation’s 33rd-ranked basketball recruit and has plans to play college ball next fall.
As his college recruitment comes to a close, Bronny was asked about prospective schools — the senior narrowed down his choices to Ohio State, USC, and Oregon. Many are surprised by his confident selection after learning not each basketball program has extended him an offer. However, his father, NBA superstar LeBron isn’t concerned about it, and here’s why.

On Sunday night, LeBron told Bill Oram of The Oregonian that the All-American player could attend any school, especially his top choice, next season.
According to Lakers Daily, Bronny seems adamant about playing for Oregon, despite the Ducks coach, Dana Altman, not making an offer.
LeBron told Oram that “there’s a chance” Bronny will play at Oregon next season.

“I think Bronny can go to any college he wants to. All I have to do is pick up the phone. If Bronny says he wants to go there, he’s good enough,” LeBron said, The Oregonian reports.
“Dana knows,” LeBron said. “He knows the interest. And it’s mutual.”
“I think it’s the ability to put pros into the league,” LeBron said. “My son wants to be a pro. It’s the way you hold guys accountable, the way they play. I guess he’s seen the way they play. Dana Altman, from the outside, looks like a great coach.”

“He’s been winning for quite a while here at Oregon, so Bronny’s smart enough to see all that,” LeBron added.
Last week, ESPN draft analyst Jonathan Givony called Bronny “one of the best two-way players in high school basketball and a surefire future NBA player.”
