The annual All 3 Coasts (A3C) festival abruptly ended after panic broke out when a festival goer alleged they heard gunshots. Attendees were enjoying a closing performance from Lil Wayne when the chaos ensued.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, both festival organizers and Atlanta police have released statements that indicate no shots were fired nor were weapons involved.

“It appears that someone in the crowd at the event located in the area of Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. and Central Ave. yelled that they heard gunshots," the Atlanta Police Department said. "This caused people at the event to attempt to flee the location…at this time we have been unable to locate any evidence to support claims that shots were fired.”

Video footage shows the pandemonium erupt; however, even it does not indicate what made someone believe they heard gunshots.

There have reportedly been 12 minor injuries including ankle injuries and lacerations from attempting to scale fences. The organization has since released a statement via its Instagram account in which it admits to "still collecting more information to determine what exactly happened," as well as assuring festival attendees they are appreciated.

Wayne recently dropped his highly anticipated Carter V album which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top 200 albums chart. He offered his well wishes to everyone involved:
