Lil Wayne And Mack Maine Throw 'Weezy Christmas' Party For 150 Teens In New Orleans

According to TMZ, the Christmas celebration kicked off at a local Dave & Busters for those 12 through 16. The arcade-filled day praised the hometown children for excelling in school and the local community sports programs. Each child was given new sports equipment for their outstanding work and discipline.

“I want to personally wish each of you a Merry Christmas,” Weezy said in a TMZ video. “And I know you love sports like I love sports, so I hit up my people at Wilson Sporting Goods to give you the gift of game. I specifically picked out everything myself, I hope you love everything and I hope you have an amazing holiday.”

Young Money is giving back to the community in multiple ways this holiday season. They’ve joined forces with the Son of a Saint mentor program and another athletic organization to promote sports in the Harrell Park neighborhood that Lil Wayne once called home.

“This Christmas @mackmaine4president & I wanted to give some future hall of Famers the gift of game w/ the help of @Wilson,” he wrote in an Instagram post caption. “Making sure they received the necessary resources so they could enjoy all the benefits of being a top-tier athlete was very important to us!”

According to Revolt, Wayne is known for his philanthropy work just as much as his music career. In 2022, he brought back his annual Lil Weezyana Fest, which raises funds for various initiatives around the Big Easy.

Wayne launched the festival in 2015 in honor of the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.

Tunechi and Maine have also poured into rebuilding Harrell Park and have worked with mentorship programs such as NOLA’s Son of a Saint program.
