In the middle of his set, rapper Travis Scott stopped his performance to calm down several fans who were putting themselves in danger.

Scott, alongside Meek Mill, was performing at the Coney Art Walls in Coney Island, Brooklyn, during the Fourth of July celebration. Scott took the stage around 8 p.m. Monday, DJ’d, and then performed for the crowd.

A few concertgoers watched Scott’s performance from atop a lighting truss as the crowd grew larger. After Scott noticed the fans dangling from the lighting truss, he stopped the show and ordered the fans to climb down. The concert continued as planned after fans followed his instructions.

Last year, during Scott’s annual music festival, Astroworld, 10 people, including a 9-year-old boy, were killed during a crowd surge in the middle of his performance. Additionally, hundreds of people were injured.

Live Nation and Scott are currently facing numerous lawsuits concerning the incident.
