Loretta Devine has landed a multi-episode arc on USA Network’s new EMT comedy Sirens, which follows 3 of Chicago’s best EMTs whose sometimes self-loathing, other times narcissistic, and downright self-destructive personalities make them unqualified for sustaining relationships, friendships and most occupations.
Michael Mosley, Kevin Daniels, Kevin Bigley, and Jessica McNamee star in the series.
Ms Devine, who also had a multi-episode arc on another medical drama, Grey’s Anatomy, will play the character named Hank’s “no-nonsense, church-going mother” for two episodes. Hank is played by Kevin Daniels.
Dennis Leary created the series, with Bob Fisher (Wedding Crashers), and both are executive producers, along with Jim Serpico (Rescue Me), and Hal Vogel and David Aukin (Hyde Park on the Hudson) of Daybreak Pictures.
