According to Momma Dee, she’s currently not on speaking terms with her beloved son, rapper Scrappy. The Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star blames Scrappy’s wife, Bambi.
Momma Dee gets backlash after attending baby shower of Scrappy’s ex, Shay Johnson
As Ace Showbiz reports, she recently attended the all-white attire baby shower for Johnson. Johnson and Scrappy dated for several years on and off with Scrappy labeling their relationship as a “friendship.” Johnson even claims she was supposed to star as Scrappy’s love interest on the show and was blindsided by his relationship with the mother of his eldest child, Erica Dixon. Scrappy even proposed to Dixon on the reunion stage with Johnson present in Season 1. Despite the drama, Momma Dee has always been a champion for Johnson.

Some fans felt Momma Dee attending the shower and bragging about it publicly was out of line.
“SOO disrespectful to Da Bam!!!” one wrote in regards to Scrappy’s wife Bambi. Scrappy and Bambi have three young children together.
There are also rumors that Johnson has named Momma Dee as her child’s godmother.

Momma Dee didn’t shy away from the backlash. In fact, she responded to the mess in her own Instagram comment. “I’m down for who down for me,” she wrote.
“Me I’ve never heard bam even give a f**k about what I ate Send me flowers for my birthday give me a greeting card. I supposed to leave Shea [sic] alone because she’s insecure she’s f**king insecure and she’s dragging my son. My son and I are not even speaking because of her Insecurity’s [sic] I’m done.”
Apparently, Bambi wasn’t too pleased with Momma Dee spilling any family business online.
Momma Dee shared a text message from Bambi with her daughter-in-law telling her to “keep the same energy” when she sees her in person. In the text, Bambi alleges that she constantly overlooks Momma Dee’s behavior for the sake of their family but she vows to no longer do so.
In the past, Bambi has accused Momma Dee of not having a solid relationship with their grandchildren.
Fans have also blasted Bambi for her perceived insecure behavior. At one point, she didn’t allow for Scrappy to have any communication with Dixon, despite them having a child together. After Dixon accused Scrappy of still trying to get with her while with Bambi, Scrappy also refused to talk to her.
