Lupita Nyong'o showed all the way out at the Met Gala.
We already know the Us star stunts on any and all red carpets but she outdid herself with her latest Met Gala look.
The theme of this year's gala was “Camp,” another term for being extra AF, and Nyong'o knocked it out of the park.
Her beaded dress with neon statement shoulders and a matching fan was already a show-stopper. But that hair?
Sis sported a stack afro with several picks jetting from her crown.
Nyong'o’s hairstylist Vernon Francois was inspired by several sources, reports The Independent.
“I drew so many inspirations from our heritage in particular a self-portrait by [Lauren Kelley’s] ‘Pickin’ as well as [Marie Antoinette] and considering the portions of [Lupita’s] dress and of course the theme,” he wrote on Instagram.
“Our goal is to continue to demonstrate the power of our hair texture that it is the most moldable and luxurious hair texture there is.”
He also revealed he spray-painted the picks himself and will "be hanging this up on my wall."
Job well done, brother.
