Melania Trump is on a four-nation tour of the African continent, and her most recent stop was to the country of Malawi, The Hill reports. To say her visit didn't get off to a warm start would be an understatement.

According to The New York Times, Mrs. Trump was greeted with demonstrators holding signs with "#MELANIATOO" (with the "Me" in "Melania" in bold letters to emphasize the #MeToo movement) and "Welcome to Malawi. #NOTAS**THOLE!" The second sign, of course, referencing her husband's previous callous comments about Haiti and African countries.

Another sign read, "69 Days Past the Deadline to Reunite Families," in reference to Trump's zero-tolerance immigration policy.

During her visit, the first lady spent time with children at the Chipala Primary School in Malawi's capital, Lilongwe, which receives assistance from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

"Meeting those children and understanding their different way of life is why I wanted to travel here," she said. "I was heartened to spend time with the students and was honored to donate school supplies and soccer balls."

The soccer balls bore the logo for her anti-bullying campaign "Be Best," which has been accused of being a rip-off of one of forever first lady Michelle Obama's initiatives.

Mrs. Trump first visited Ghana and plans to visit Egypt and Kenya next.
