A Pennsylvania man claims he found and turned in a tape of R. Kelly abusing underaged girls.

Gary Dennis held a press conference with attorney Gloria Allred on Sunday to announce the existence of the tape, reports NBC News.

Dennis says he found the tape while sorting through a collection of old VHS tapes he'd stumbled across in his home. The video was labeled “R. Kelly,” so he played it thinking it was a recording of a concert. Instead, he claims it showed Kelly “engaging with these children in sexually abusive acts.”

Dennis told reporters he was “disgusted” and “horrified” by the contents and almost threw the tape away.

“I was inclined to throw out the tape and put it in the garbage, but then I discussed it with my wife and we decided the right thing to do was to turn it over to law enforcement.”

Dennis insisted he “has never met” and has “no connection” to the “Trapped in the Closet” singer. Allred also admitted Dennis and his wife are not “100 percent certain” it is Kelly on the tape.

Steve Greenberg, Kelly’s lawyer, released a statement defending his client’s innocence, according to Spin.

“R. Kelly denies that he is on any tape with underaged girls,” Greenberg said. “The doubt here is self-evident, with reporting that the man on the tape kinda, sorta looks like R Kelly. That doesn’t make it him. It is not him.”

Greenberg also argued Kelly is being unfairly targeted.

“It is obviously now just open season on R. Kelly,” the lawyer continued. “It is irresponsible to continue to take the speculation of every Tom, Dick and Harry, and report it as if it is fact.”

Kelly pleaded not guilty to 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse against three underage girls and a woman on February 25. After bail was paid freeing him on that charge, he was rearrested for unpaid child support. He left jail again on Sunday after an anonymous donor paid over $160,000 in outstanding child support to Kelly’s ex-wife.

Michael Avenatti, one of the lawyers representing some of Kelly’s accusers, commented on the new tape by warning the public against sharing evidence without confirmation.

“Over the last week, we have had five other individuals contact us with tapes that they claim show R. Kelly having sex with underage girls,” he tweeted. “Upon investigation, they don't and the individuals would have no reason to have such a tape. Publicizing this 'evidence' undermines the process.”
