On Sept. 18, VH1's Hip-Hop Honors: The 90's Game Changers will honor the beloved era of hip-hop, television, and film that continues to influence modern entertainment. That means Lawrence, a major force from the decade, will be front and center.

According to Billboard, Lawrence will be one of several other honorees who contributed to the greatest decade ever.

“Anytime anyone wants to recognize you for your work, it’s an honor. I am looking forward to a really great night of fun and music,” he told Billboard.

This honor is well-deserved.
