Master P has decided that it is time to celebrate his late daughter, Tytyana Miller’s life and paid tribute to her during a recent concert appearance Tuesday evening.
In a short clip uploaded to Instagram, the 52-year-old mogul can be heard speaking to the crowd, saying that he loves and misses his daughter.
“I love my daughter, man. I miss her,” he said. “I was always her parachute and now she’s my parachute in the sky looking over me. We not gonna grieve no more, we’re gonna celebrate because now I’m able to take care of millions of kids and save millions of lives.”
“I’m gonna get out here and play my part,” he continued. “I know God put me in this world for a passion and purpose. Mental illness is a serious thing.”
Master P then asked the crowd to sing along to Tytyana’s “theme song” – Michael Jackson’s 1995 hit single, “You Are Not Alone.”
According to HipHopDX, the Miller family convened for an intervention on Tytyana’s drug use in an episode of Growing Up Hip Hop which premiered in 2016.
In the clip, Tytyana can be heard saying that she doesn’t feel like she needs to go to rehab.
“I feel like I could actually do good without rehab,” she said.
“You say that Tata, but on the serious side, I think we should get some professional help just to make sure you stay on track,” Master P responded. “Let’s not say you don’t want to go to rehab. I think you should at least try because I don’t want you to go back to this.”
According to TMZ, Miller’s autopsy has been completed but toxicology reports will still take a couple weeks to be finalized.
According to the publication, drug paraphernalia was discovered at the scene of Tytyana’s death. However, no chemicals were discovered at the location.
