Fox’s Monday primetime schedule is about to heat up even further, with the adrenaline-fueled drama Almost Human joining the already *hot* Sleepy Hollow, to debut with a special 2-night series premiere, on Sunday, November 17, and Monday, November 18.

Almost Human will precede Sleepy Hollow regularly on Monday nights, starting at 8pm (replacing Bones, which will move to Fridays), making Fox’s primetime Mondays must-see TV. At least, we hope so.

Ahead of the series’ premiere, Fox has released an 8-minute preview of it, from episode 1, which is embedded below.

From executive producer J.J. Abrams and creator/executive producer J.H. Wyman, comes Almost Human, starring Karl Urban and Michael Ealy, in a new series set in 2048, when police officers are partnered with highly evolved human-like androids. Almost Human will follow the week-to-week missions of John Kennex (Urban), a detective and sole survivor of a devastating police ambush, and his robot partner, Dorian (Ealy), as this buddy-cop duo solve cases involving dangerously evolved criminals in a futuristic landscape.

The series is produced by Bonanza Productions Inc., in association with Bad Robot Productions and Warner Bros. Television

Brad Anderson directed and served as co-executive producer on the pilot.

Watch as we’re introduced to Urban’s Kennex, Ealy’s Dorian, and the world they inhabit, in the 8-minute sneak peek below:
