One of two new black characters set to appear on The CW’s action-drama The Arrow, in its second season, here’s your first look at Michael Jai White in motion as a character named Bronze Tiger, aka Ben Turner, a claw-wielding assassin, who’s well known to DC Comics fans as a member of both the League of Assassins and the Suicide Squad.
On Arrow, he forms an unholy alliance with fan-favorite villain China White (played by Kelly Hu).
The other black actor joining the series next season is Cynthia Addai-Robinson, cast to play Amanda Waller, the A.R.G.U.S. agent in charge of the Suicide Squad.
Arrow is based on the chronicles of the DC Comics superhero Green Arrow.
Up next for White, he stars in the first installment of Moonstone Entertainment’s Codename: Falcon, titled Favela.
Arrow’s airs tonight, Wednesday, October 9 at 8/7c on The CW.
