Migos joined Katy Perry on the season finale of Saturday Night Live to perform her single "Bon Appétit," which features the trio.

According to Stereogum, there were supposed to be a lot more drag queens present during the performance, but Migos (consisting of members Quavo, Offset and Takeoff) refused to appear with them.

Now, this isn’t the first time Migos has been linked to homophobic sentiments. The "Bad and Boujee" trio faced critical backlash earlier this year for their comments about iLoveMakonnen’s coming out.

Makonnen wasn’t bothered by the comments, and Quavo went on the record to say that he’s not homophobic since he’s friends with Frank Ocean. Regardless, it offended a lot of people and they have since been linked to homophobia.

“I was one of the performers on that table with them the whole time, during the rehearsal for 3 days. On the day of the filming, when I got there, I was told to leave. I wasn’t on the set at the time, but we were asking what happened. They said it was because Migos doesn’t feel comfortable with having drag queens there,” one of the drag queen performers said in a statement via World of Wonder that has since been deleted.

Adding credence to the performer's claim is an SNL staff member who said, “I work at SNL and the rumors are true! Migos held up rehearsal because they ‘weren’t comfortable with the drag queens’ being there. There were initially more drag queens on the set for that song, but after Migos threw a fit, Katy Perry’s team removed some of the queens from the performance.”

Migos may be friends with Frank Ocean, but they don't seem to be friends with Katy Perry, cause friends don't let friends act crazy like that in public.

But wait! Update! There's a twist!

After initial stories of trouble on set, SPIN now reports that one of the drag queens who performed with Migos and Perry, Brita Filter, has released an email that contradicts the previous anonymous claims.

“It was incredible performing with Katy Perry. She wanted to have all walks of life at the table. I was happy to represent all the drag queens,” said Filter. “There was numerous changes throughout the rehearsal process. They chose to have only people of color at the table. There was no drama with Migos.”

Furthermore, a Katy Perry rep also claimed in an email that “the story is false.” Migos' representatives told the Atlanta Journal Constitution that the story is “completely false and fabricated.”

We're sure more information will be forthcoming. In the meantime, here is the "Bon Appétit" SNL performance!
