The body of 15-year-old missing teen Sadaria Davis has been found. Davis was found dead near an abandoned building on May 11, two weeks after she was reported missing in April.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Davis was last seen on April 25 leaving her home in the West Garfield neighborhood of Chicago. Her family hadn't heard from her since.

A Chicago Police Department spokeswoman confirmed there is no indication as to how Davis died or how she ended up in the vacant East Garfield Park apartment, six blocks away from her home.

An autopsy was performed May 12 but determined no cause of death. The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office has promised to continue its investigation into the cause of Davis' passing.

Davis' body was found just a few weeks before Chicago celebrated the life of Kenneka Jenkins, who was found dead at a Rosemont, Illinois, hotel in September 2017. ABC News recently reported loved ones gathered at the site of Jenkins' death on May 27, which would've been Jenkins' 20th birthday.

Though Jenkins' death was ruled an accident by a medical examiner, her family has been fighting for a more thorough investigation.

We're hoping both families get the answers they seek.
