MVP chants rang throughout the crowd at Moda Center Tuesday night as Portland Trailblazers star Damian Lillard sunk the game-winning shot to take Game 5 and close the series against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round of the NBA playoffs.

With mere seconds left on the clock, Lillard fired his shot from 37 yards out, with time expiring as soon as the ball hit the bottom of the net to lift the Trail Blazers over their rivals 118-115.

"When it left my hands, it felt good…" Lillard said following the victory.

It was a perfect shot that will undoubtedly be remembered for years to come. Not only is Lillard the hero in Portland, the 28-year-old's reaction after nailing the triple birthed a new viral meme on Twitter for the end of April and the month of May.
