Our man Russell Hornsby gets to breathe a sigh of relief as the first-term show he co-stars in on NBC – Grimm – has just been renewed for a second season!

The police procedural with a fairy tale twist, created by Buffy The Vampire Slayer writers David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf Portland, has apparently been doing well enough for the network on Friday nights averaging 4.8 million total viewers.

David Giuntoli stars as Detective Nick Burkhardt, descendant of an elite line of criminal profilers known as "Grimms;" Hornsby plays his partner, Hank Griffin.
