Time for some major inspiration!

Mike Yung first appeared on America's Got Talent in July 2017 and told the judges that he had been performing on NYC subway platforms for 37 years. His audition video, in which he performed "Unchained Melody," went viral and amassed over 7 million views.

Yung stayed in the competition until the semifinals. He was eliminated in the first week, but that hasn’t slowed him down.

According to Atlanta Black Star, Yung is about to take his career to the next level after landing a booking agent!

Yung announced the news on Twitter:

"I have been picked up by @paradigmagency which just won booking agency of the year. They will be helping me book shows," Yung tweeted along with a poignant video of him performing "A Change Is Gonna Come" on a subway platform. "This couldn’t be possible without you guys. THANK YOU [.] I will be announcing my first NYC show soon. NEVER GIVE UP[.]"

RCA Records signed Yung when he was 14-years-old, but things didn't work out with the company. He recently launched a Kickstarter to raise funds for his debut album entitled, Never Give Up. Appropriate name!

Congrats, Mike Yung!
