Producers of The Game are moving quickly to replace departing stars Tia Mowry and Pooch Hall.

Recall yesterday's news that Lauren London has joined the cast of BET's mega comedy hit show as a series regular, in its upcoming 6th season.

London's casting is intended to fill the void left by Mowry, and will play a character named Kiera, described as "a former child star who is currently appearing in a Cosby Show-esque sitcom."

Announced this afternoon, Pooch Hall's replacement will come in the form of relative newcomer Jay Ellis, who has joined the cast also as a series regular, playing a characeter named Blue, described as, "a running back and the No.1 draft pick from an Ivy League school who is highly educated and often the smartest person in the room. But even though he is bright, he is still a young man who has a lot to learn about life, love and himself."

Ellis' resume is full of bit parts in episodes of TV series like Grey's Anatomy, and The Bold And The Beautiful, as well as some short film work. A starring role in a hit TV series should up his profile a bit.

Meanwhile, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Coby BellHosea ChanchezBrandy Norwood and Barry A. Floyd will all be back next season.
