The constantly-busy Nick Cannon, who already hosts at least two TV shows, has signed up to host yet another one – a reboot of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, for the Style network.
Style revived the series earlier this year, which was previously-hosted by famously Robin Leach in the 1980s and 1990s.
In addition to hosting the series, Cannon will also executive produce the new version via his NCredible Entertainment banner.
The new-look Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous will begin production in the fall, and will take viewers into the homes of new-money players – the dot-commers, hip-hop famers, and more.

He is extremely talented with a grounded personality and style that a wide-range of viewers have come to appreciate and respect. Nick’s comedic and down-to-earth perspective on the opulence of the wealthy makes him the ideal host as we reinvent this pop culture classic,” Style Media president Salaam Coleman Smith said. “With Nick’s humorous insight, Style will give viewers front-row access to how today’s wealthy live, paying homage to the original Lifestyles in a fresh, fun and irreverent way.”
“To be a part of Style’s reimagination of this iconic show and follow in the footsteps of the legendary Robin Leach is a dream come true,” Cannon said. “Even though I am fortunate to have certain luxuries, sometimes, I am even amazed by what people with money have and do. I want to remind people that just because you might be rich and famous, it doesn’t mean you have to take yourself too seriously.”
In addition to hosting the recently revived Wild N’ Out at MTV2, Cannon also hosts America’s Got Talent, Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards, the Halo Awards and others.
He also recently signed a first-look production deal with NBC, to develop scripted and unscripted programming for the network, and is set to play 1980s drug dealer Rick Ross in a biopic.
Cannon is already quite busy with several projects for different platforms, including a sequel to 2002’s Drumline, which he’s directing.
A premiere date for the new Lifestyles has not yet been announced.
