Actress Niecy Nash, who will be celebrating her one-year wedding anniversary this summer, stepped into her first celebration of Pride Month with partner Jessica Betts in an incredibly sweet fashion.

In a heartwarming update, Nash posted a video with Betts, wishing the love of her life, and all of her fans, a happy Pride Month.

“These are definitely tears of joy, because I’m happy,” she said tearfully before kissing Betts.

The loving post plucked the heartstrings of fans everywhere, many of whom said they had trouble fighting back tears as well.

“She’s crying, I’m crying, we’re all crying,” a fan wrote.

Another one of Nash’s fans commented on Twitter that they resonate with the actress’ fulfilling relationship.

Hours later, the 51-year-old posted a stunning picture of herself in a rainbow bikini in celebration of the LGTBQ+ community. In the caption of the post, Nash asks transgender activist Laverne Cox to become one of her Pride fairy godparents and Betts to remain her guide on the journey.

"Stepping into my first #pridemonth like…❤️???????????????? I’m accepting invitations, gifts, & welcome packets! I’m nominating @kingofbingo @mrrpmurphy @lavernecox as my honorary Pride Fairy Godparents to show me the ropes! And @jessicabettsmusic to be my guide ????????????," she wrote.

As Blavity previously reported, Nash has been living her best life with Betts, the person she said has the “most beautiful soul" ever.

The couple first met on social media in 2015, while Nash was married to her ex-husband Jay Tucker. The 51-year-old said that their bond grew fast, but she initially saw Betts as just a friend. Once Nash and Tucker mutually parted ways, the Malibu Most Wanted actress said her relationship with the singer evolved into something extraordinary.

“I loved her before I was in love with her because she is such a special human being,” Nash said. “But we began to see each other in a way we never had before. Sometimes you get so broken by love, you run from it. But I’ve learned that you should always hold space for magic because it can happen at any time.”

Last year, she shared details on her happy marriage following a private wedding ceremony.

"[My marriage] has absolutely nothing to do with gender and it has everything to do with her soul," Nash said of Betts. "She is the most beautiful soul I have ever met in my life.”

Although her sudden wedding pictures shocked fans last August, the Reno 911 actress said she has always felt free to love who she loves.

"I was not suppressing my sexuality my whole life," Nash said. "I love who I love. At one point in my life, I married twice and I love those people. And today I love this person. I've done everything I wanted to do on my own terms and my own way.”

Earlier this spring, the actress revealed that her three kids were shocked when she told them that she was dating Betts, but they had previously met her and were already big fans of hers prior to the wedding.

“And they all were like, 'Oh my God, she's so cool!' They was exchanging numbers … So, they already liked her,” she said, according to Today.
