A beauty supply store owner punched a black woman in her face after an altercation over a keychain.

In a video that hit the net on Monday, August 13, the unidentified woman argues with Changseok Jun, who owns Jun’s Beauty Supply in Tulsa, Oklahoma. According to Yahoo News, the conflict began after the woman's child stole a keychain without her knowledge.

Tulsa Police Sergeant Shane Tuell said Jun followed the woman and her kids out of the store to confront them about the item.

“Mr. Jun followed the victim outside to confront her, and she threw the item back inside the store, then pushed him in his upper torso as she was leaving,” Tuell said. “Mr. Jun then punched the woman in the right side of her mouth with his closed fist.”

Jun was charged with misdemeanor assault and battery and is scheduled to appear in court on September 12. The woman could also sue Jun.

As Shaun King noted, this is the second time a black woman has been attacked at an Asian-owned business in a week.
